IN THE WORKROOM WITH CARLOTTA SCHOLZ

An LM Woman, Carlotta was the face of our Pre Fall 25 campaign, photographed by Alice Neale in London. Inspired by her creative practice, we spent an afternoon in her world. Documented by her partner Marlee, this photo essay sees Carlotta in Workroom.

"My inspiration comes from everyday textures, materials and shapes. I like to combine different textile techniques and play around with materialities in different contexts. We focused on the tactile, intimate way I work with textiles, creating images that show my interaction with materials."

INSPIRATION

My inspiration comes from everyday textures, materials and shapes. I like to combine different textile techniques and play around with materialities in different contexts. Regarding this story we captured my work environment, filled with raw materials, foam sculptures and textiles, through a personal and natural perspective.

METHOD

We focused on the tactile, intimate way I work with textiles, creating images that show my interaction with materials. One part of the story is a series, where we wanted to reflect on the constant process of studying your own practice, tools and materials.

UNIFORM

We chose a look that suited the setting and felt authentic, I especially loved the skirt.
