About the role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to lead and optimise the production department at Lee Mathews. The Production Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, seasonal critical paths, supplier relationships, quality control across all production stages, and achieving margin targets.

This is an ideal role for someone confident in the industry, with a strategic mindset to streamline processes and deliver exceptional outcomes.
 

This role will include, but is not limited to:

 

Lead the full production process, ensuring seamless delivery from sample through to bulk production.
Manage seasonal production schedules, aligning timelines with business priorities and critical milestones.
Drive profitability through effective supplier negotiation and cost management.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with local and offshore suppliers.
Oversee quality control and approvals across fabrics, trims and garments, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
Maintain accurate production data across all business systems.
Identify and implement opportunities for process innovation and cross-functional efficiencies.
Anticipate and resolve potential production challenges to ensure minimal disruption to timelines and quality.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Production Assistant, providing guidance and confidence in the role.

Requirements for the role:

5-7 years' experience in production management within fashion or textiles.
Proven success in leading production across multiple seasons and collections.
Strong strategic approach with demonstrated ability to negotiate costs, optimise margins, and improve production outcomes.
Deep understanding of garment construction and production workflows.
Proficient in production management systems and advanced Excel skills.
Experience in managing local and international suppliers, with flexibility to travel offshore as required.
Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship skills.
A decisive and strategic problem solver who thrives in a past-paced environment.
Comfortable working in a small, agile team environment.

Experience in a high-end boutique is preferred, but not essential.

About THE ROLE:

 

You will be responsible for assisting in the successful operations of the Gertrude St Market store, achieving sales through exceptional customer service and the building and nurturing of a loyal customer base.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

 

Cultivating local relationships with customers, VIPs and other retailers.

Assisting customers in store.

Providing an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere in store.
Communicating styling advice based on in-depth knowledge of product and brand aesthetic.
Answering phone & email enquiries and all other communication channels.
Striving to achieve sales targets and company KPIs.
Supporting daily operational procedures and administrative tasks.
Maintaining stock management.
Ensuring the store aesthetics are always at their best.
Developing a deep understanding of LM and our curated third-party offering.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

   Exceptional presentation.
   Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
   Understanding of the Lee Mathews brand & aesthetic.
   Highly motivated and driven in your role with a keen eye for detail,
