CLOSE BY, ARMADALE

With each collection, we find ourselves inspired by the places closest to home — the side streets, corner stores and cafés that shape our daily rhythm.

Close By is a new series celebrating the neighbourhoods around our Lee Mathews stores. More than a guide, it’s a way of seeing — uncovering the small, special places that make each location feel like its own little world.

First stop, Armadale, where our store sits among antique bookstores, Italian diners, Scandinavian curiosities and pastry shops that know our coffee order by heart. A neighbourhood full of familiar faces and new discoveries — this is where we go for a slow afternoon, a thoughtful gift, or a glass of wine after work.

MORNING MARKET

15 minUTE Walk or 5 MinUTE Tram away on High St

Perched on the corner of Grandview Grove and High Street, a 15 minute walk away or a couple tram stops down is Morning Market. Our favourite go-to for coffee and a pastry. Our old team member Kate is now baking there! A neighbourhood gem for take home dinners, boutique pantry staples or for grabbing a quick gift from their range of European Ceramics or locally sourced flowers. A beautiful spot for a coffee date with a friend or settling in with a book in the leafy streets of Prahran.
